References: Provide complete references for all citations. Answer: Assigned Perspective: You are assigned to consider the different components of a HIS from a client perspective. From a client perspective, multiple components are important when considering a new health information system. First, it needs to be user- friendly. Clients of ages that can use this system will be accessing this data. Patients that have never accessed this before should be easily able to access the system with minimal assistance. Second, the system needs to have safety measures in place to secure the data that is there. Meaning that the only people who can access the data are providers, caretakers and the patient. The patient should be able to share this information with important family members as well. Last, there should be some education or training on the use of this system. There should be a spot for frequently asked questions and even videos on how to gain access or where to look for information that the client is trying to access. The client should be able to manage their health information effectively and correctly when using the new system. With a new system, clients should be able to i8ndependently manage their care and have better access and control over their health information (Hebda & Rose, 2024, p. 122).
