Education Access and Quality Health determinants refer to factors where individuals stay, live, interact, play, learn, and work that can affect their health status. Some social determinants are modifiable, while others are non-modifiable (Islam, 2019). Education and quality refer to the level of education of individuals living in a specified locality and how it impacts individuals' lives within a specified locality. Education level is among the significant factors affecting various aspects that contribute to health or disease states. The Healthy People 2030 recognizes the level of education as the primary determinant impacting the ability and willingness of individuals to adhere to healthy lifestyles and behavior and adhere to the best health-seeking attitudes. Therefore, health stakeholders have a role in promoting quality education through collaboration with other community stakeholders and implementing higher education levels. The Impact of Education Access and Quality on Health There are various ways in which education access and quality can impact the health of individuals within a specified locality. Foremost, individuals with higher levels of education are capable of adhering to the recommended treatment plan and healthy lifestyles and maintaining attitudes that promote wellbeing (Islam, 2019). For instance, individuals with a lower level of education may lack awareness of the common risk factors that contribute to diabetes, obesity, and other chronic conditions (Healthy People 2030, 2020). Secondly, children born in families whose parents have higher academic achievements have greater chances of achieving the best health outcomes due to adequate parental support and health resources to cover their needs. Moreover, individuals with higher education levels have higher chances of acquiring higher-paying jobs and have resources for promoting adequate insurance coverage. Choi et al. (2020) indicate that individuals with lower academic achievement and socioeconomic status contribute to the most significant Achieving higher educational achievement is necessary to improve the individual's socioeconomic status, access to quality jobs, enhanced health literacy, and ability to seek and access quality healthcare services. CPSTF also suggested a high-school completion program as a critical resource for individuals in such communities to promote the completion of studies. The approach mobilizes available local, community, and global resources, to promote the best outcomes by improving their academic achievements. The second resource related to education access and quality is the implementation of evidence-based preventive interventions (HHS Non-Systematic Review) that was reviewed in December 2020. This resource aims at creating an enabling environment for learners, especially in rural schools to learn to thrive in their social, academic, and physical development. References Bickley, L.
