Main Point #1: Language has changed - Abbreviations and Emojis - GIFs, Memes, and Hashtags Main Point #2: Grammar and Syntax are suffering - Academic and professional communication - Miscommunication Main Point #3: Reactions from different generations - Baby Boomers and Generation X - Millennials, Zillennials, and Generation Z
