昀椀ndings meet the criteria for strep throat infec琀椀on. So, the pa琀椀ent must be treated with an appropriate an琀椀bio琀椀c while we wait for the throat culture report. This overrides the concern for inappropriate an琀椀microbial prescribing. 2. Medica琀椀ons: Write complete prescrip琀椀on(s) to include the dispense & re昀椀ll designa琀椀ons for any Rx meds (an琀椀bio琀椀c) & the 24hr max dose for any OTC meds (Tylenol). Examples have been provided in my “Prepping for iHuman Assignments” “Prescrip琀椀on Wri琀椀ng for iHuman Management Plan” posted on the Q&A Forum.
