The problem was identified by careful observation of the infection rates of the patients in the ICU. The department took care of the rising infection rates because this resulted in higher patient mobility and prolonged stay at the hospital (Braun, et al., 2020). The entire process considered the previous infection data and existing infection data. Thereafter, the primary cause of the infection is analyzed.
