Make 5x8 cards for each condition detailing: sign/symptoms, physical exam findings, diagnostics and treatment/patient education. Read through the assigned readings ideally three times: first read just to “read,” second read and take notes on your cards, and skim read before testing on known areas of weakness. When testing, look at the question, NOT the answers. Decide on the answer before looking at the choices on the exam. Align your “correct” answer with a choice on the exam. 56% of the FNP board exam is Internal Medicine topics.
