Introduction Post: Hello everyone, My name is Cassie. I am 29 years old, and I have been a Registered Nurse for 7 years. I have worked in the inpatient setting for the entire duration of my career on a Family Birthing Unit. In doing so, I have to opportunity to work in Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and NICU. I have always adored Women’s and Children’s Health and am pursuing an FNP degree in hopes of being able to have a more prominent role in providing patient-centered care to the same population I currently work with—be it in a High-Risk Breast Clinic, or an OBGYN office. However, I am open to many of the plethora of other opportunities that a FNP degree will provide! In my spare time, you can find me playing pickleball, crocheting a blanket for my future nephew, or doing a Peloton workout. I look forward to starting my journey alongside all of you!
