To achieve one of the sub-competencies listed under AACN Essentials Competency 1.1, the course learning activities and assignments that will be most beneficial are those that promote the translation of evidence from nursing science and other sciences into practice. This can be achieved through systematic literature reviews, evidence-based practice projects, and clinical case studies. These activities encourage the practical application of the latest scientific evidence in nursing practice, which not only enhances the quality and effectiveness of care provided but also instills a sense of confidence and reassurance about our future nursing practice.
