She is very personable and has helped increase my knowledge when working on the floor at the bedside. She has prompted me to further my education by providing guidance and knowledge when needed. Mrs. Judy (as she likes to be called) originally started in cardiology and has now transitioned to being one of the top CRNP at Regional Medical Center. Network Member 2 Name: Dr. Wilfredo Grana Title: MD Organization: Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Academic or Professional: Academic and Professional Why I selected this individual and/or team and how will they support my success in the MSN program and a practicing nurse: Dr. Grana is one of the many physicians that has been supportive in my decision to further my education. He has volunteered his time and office for me grasp the knowledge necessary for patient care and licensure. He has been a thorough source of knowledge and guidance, not only in school, but also in practice. She will be the person responsible for helping me seek out places of employment upon graduation. She was very enthusiastic about me furthering my education and stated that anytime I needed anything (employment included) to contact her directly. She understands the needs of our community for great medical care and wishes to see me as a change agent in the community to provide the care. Network Member 4 Name: Janel Jones Title: Academic Advisor Organization: Walden University Academic or Professional: Academic Why I selected this individual and/or team and how will they support my success in the MSN program and a practicing nurse: I chose Janel, because she will be the person to help me navigate through the courses needed to complete my degree at Walden University. She will be the sounding board needed when I am frustrated with my classes.
